| Kata, 23 years old |
My name is Kata Morauszki. I am from Hungary and really glad to take part in the project “Holding Hands with Other Abilities”. I am 23 years old and graduated in January. My profession is special education, that is why I seized the opportunity to go to APCC. I think this experience in my life will be a very good beginning to be a professional, so it can help to expand my knowledge and practice.
I interested in the creative and art activities and the transfer of this areas to the special educational work. On my opinion the creative work is an important and necessary part of the learning and teaching, like the team work. So I try to be a team player in every work or in the professional area.
The foreign experiences play an important role in the whole life, as in the special education. Other countries have a different educational and special educational system, and the problems, the solutions and methods can help in our country and we can learn each other. Also we give our experiences, problem solutions and mentality in social education to other countries. This is like a “give and get” opportunity.
I should be glad to develop my language skills, because it’s really important nowadays. I like to learn languages, because on my opinion it bespeak a lots about the countryside, we can learn about the country trough the language.
It’s glad to come to know a foreign culture, to be there in the day to day life, so I would like to experience Portugal also Coimbra, and the special pedagogical culture of this country. This tender and the half year voluntary work is a really good opportunity to learn, experience and “give and get”.
